熱中症搬送８月５～１１日９８１５人 前週の３・３倍、１７人死亡
熱中症で８月５～１１日の１週間に救急搬送されたのは９８１５人。
１３日、総務省消防庁の集計（速報値）で分かった。
うち１７人が死亡した。
搬送者数は前週の２９９４人の約３・３倍に急増した。
週末にかけ、最高気温が４０度を超える地点が出るなど記録的な暑さとなったため。
集計を始めた５月２７日以降の搬送者数は累計で３万９９４４人となった。
猛烈な暑さはしばらく続く見通しで、消防庁は冷房の効果的な活用や、喉が渇く前からこまめに水分補給をするよう呼び掛けている。
搬送者数のうち３週間以上の入院が必要な重症は２９２人。年齢別では６５歳以上の高齢者が４２・４％を占めた。
