Einige Schiffe bahnen sich ihren Weg über die mit Eisschollen bedeckte Elbe im Hamburger Hafen.

Angesichts des derzeitigen Dauerfrosts droht der Fluss zuzufrieren.

Some vessels are making their way through the ice floes covered with Elbe in Hamburg's harbor.

Given the current permafrost threatens the river to freeze over.
