台風１２号、宮古島地方は暴風域抜ける

 

沖縄気象台によると、台風１２号は８月２１日午前１０時現在、石垣島の北約１００キロにあり、時速約３０キロで西北西へ進んでいる。

 

中心の気圧は９７０ヘクトパスカル、中心付近の最大風速は３０メートル、最大瞬間風速は４５メートルで、中心から半径６０キロメートル以内が風速２５メートル以上の暴風域となっている。

 

宮古島地方は同日午前４時ごろ暴風域に入り、午前１０時ごろ暴風域を抜けた。

 

八重山地方は午前１０時２９分に暴風警報が解除された。

 

与那国地方は昼過ぎに最接近する。

 

県によると、けが人などの人的被害は確認されていない。

 

沖縄本島地方や先島地方の沿岸海域では、うねりを伴った大しけとなっているため、気象台は高波に警戒を呼び掛けている。

 

県は２１日午前、又吉進知事公室長が本部長を務め、所管部局の課長級で作る県災害警戒本部会議を開催した。
