大雪被害　死者１４人

 

関東甲信と東北に記録的な大雪をもたらした低気圧は２月１６日、三陸沖を北東に進み、北海道と東北北部は荒れた天気となった。

 

大雪の影響とみられる死者は、２月１４日の降り始めから群馬、埼玉など７県で計１４人になった。

 

雪の重みで車庫などの屋根が崩落し、下敷きになったケースが目立った。

 

山梨県では県外とつながる国道の通行止めや鉄道の不通が続いている。

 

群馬県南牧村のほぼ全域や東京・多摩地区と静岡県小山町の一部も、停電や道路の不通で孤立している。

 

気象庁は、２月１８日から２月１９日ごろにまた別の低気圧が日本の南海上を西から東に移動すると予想。

 

広い範囲で雪が降る見込みで注意が必要だ。
