「青空文庫」の富田倫生さん死去　「青空文庫」を１９９７年に創設

 

インターネット上の電子図書館「青空文庫」の世話人で、著作権の保護期間延長に反対した富田倫生（とみた・みちお）さんが８月１６日午後０時８分、肝細胞がんのため岐阜県笠松町の病院で死去した。

 

６１歳。

 

広島市出身。

 

葬儀・告別式は近親者のみで営み、後日お別れ会を開く予定。

 

喪主は妻晶子（あきこ）さん。

 

１９９７年、著作権の保護期間が終了した文学作品をネット上で無料公開する青空文庫を創設した。

 

多くのボランティアの協力を得て、登録された書籍は２０１１年に１万点を超えた。
