丸紅株式会社（以下、丸紅）は食肉、ハム・ソーセージ事業日本最大手の日本ハム株式会社（以下、日本ハム）と共同で、ミャンマーの飼料・養鶏事業を推進することに合意しました。

 

ミャンマーで本事業の日系企業進出は初めてです。

 

2013年度中に現地有力企業を含めた三社間で合弁契約を締結し、飼料工場、種鶏場、およびブロイラー農場を建設します。

 

2015年から養鶏出荷を開始し、初年度は年産約600万羽、2018年度までには年産約1,200万羽に倍増する計画です。

 

また飼料工場の生産能力は年産20万tを予定しています。

 

同国の経済発展にあわせ、将来的には鶏肉処理・加工工場も完備し、飼料生産をはじめ・養鶏処理・加工までの一貫体制を目指します。

 

丸紅は北米、南米、東欧等世界各拠点で構築している調達ネットワークと、日本や中国、アセアン諸国等アジアを中心とした穀物需要国への販売力によりグローバルな穀物取引を拡大し、世界の穀物貿易量の約5％に当たる年間25百万tの取扱量を誇っております。

 

さらに国内有数の総合飼料会社を持つ強みを活かし、需要地として経済発展が見込まれる新興国での飼料・畜産事業を、グループ一体となって積極的に進めています。

 

ミャンマーは長い経済制裁の影響で、飼料・畜産技術が発展途上の段階にあります。

 

本件では、丸紅グループと日本ハムグループが協業し、日本の先進的な生産技術、トレーサビリティーを同国市場へいち早く導入し、安全かつ安心な畜産物供給を実現します。

Marubeni Corporation (Marubeni) have agreed to jointly Nippon Meat Packers, Inc. meat, ham, sausage Japan's largest business (hereinafter, Nippon Ham), and to promote the feed and poultry business in Myanmar.

 

Japanese companies advance of this project in Myanmar is the first time.

 

Marubeni signed a joint venture agreement with three companies between, including leading local company in 2013 during the feed mill, breeder field, and to build a broiler farm.

 

We plan to start a poultry shipped from 2015, the first year is about 600 million birds annual production, to double to about 12 million feather annual output by 2018.

 

The production capacity of the feed mill is scheduled to be 200,000 t year.

 

In conjunction with the country's economic development, and fully equipped with processing and poultry processing plant in the future, with the aim of integrated system to early-processing and processing poultry feed production.

 

To expand the grain trade and global procurement network that is building North America, South America, Eastern Europe, such as the world each site, the sales force to grain demand countries, mainly China and Japan, the ASEAN countries, such as Asia, Marubeni of the world and we boasts the handling amount of 25 million t per year which is equivalent to about 5% of the grain trade volume.

 

The strengths with a total feed companies in Japan's leading, in addition, we are working aggressively to become a unified group, the feed and livestock business in emerging countries where economic development is expected as demand centers.

 

The impact of long economic sanctions, is in the stage of developing the feed and livestock technology Myanmar.

 

In this case, Nippon Ham Group and Marubeni Group is collaboration, the early adopter market to the country's production technology advanced, the traceability of Japan, providing livestock products supply safe and secure.
