Standesgemäßer Empfang für die Queen

Die britische Königin Elizabeth II. ist am Abend zu ihrem fünften Staatsbesuch in Deutschland auf dem Berliner Flughafen Tegel gelandet.

Zum Auftakt ihrer viertägigen Visite wurden die 89-jährige Monarchin und ihr fünf Jahre älterer Ehemann Prinz Philip auf dem militärischen Teil des Flughafens vom Wachbataillon der Bundeswehr mit 21 Salutschüssen willkommen geheißen.

Befitting reception for the Queen

British Queen Elizabeth II is the evening their fifth official visit to Germany at the Berlin Tegel Airport.

To start their four-day visit, the 89-year-old Monarch and her five-years older than husband Prince Philip were welcomed at the military part of the airport from the guard battalion of the Bundeswehr with 21 salute.
