Super Moon shining over Shuri Castle

Super Moon shining over Shuri Castle

The super moon was observed on September 9 when it looks its largest all year in various regions in the Kingdom of Ryukyu.

This is an astronomical phenomenon when the moon looks larger than usual because it is closer to the earth.

At Shurijo Castle Park in Naha, many tourists and amateur photographers took in the scenes of the moon and the castle.

Kazuko Kuniyoshi, who visited the park for a walk, said, “I have never seen such big moon. I was so impressed. It was a very mysterious.”
