The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia produced 10 million barrels per day (bpd) of oil in July, up from 9.780 million bpd in June, an industry source said on Wednesday.

The world's largest oil exporter and OPEC heavyweight supplied a total of 9.66 million bpd to the domestic and export markets in July, the source said.

Supply to the market may differ from production depending on the movement of barrels in and out of storage.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia supplied 9.745 million bpd in June.

Output usually rises in the summer to fuel domestic power stations needed to meet surging electricity demand.
