JAL Boeing 787 emergency landing at Honolulu

 

日航７８７　緊急着陸

 

３月９日午前８時ごろ（現地時間３月８日午後１時ごろ）、羽田発サンフランシスコ行き日航ボーイング７８７が太平洋上空を飛行中、右エンジンの不具合が計器に表示されたため、機長がこのエンジンを停止、約３０分後に最寄りのホノルル空港に緊急着陸した。

 

乗客乗員計１７１人は無事で、火災もなかった。

 

日航によると、操縦室の計器が右エンジンを作動させる潤滑油の油圧と油量の低下を表示。

 

着陸後の点検で、油のような液体が漏れているのが見つかった。

 

昨年１月に米ボストン空港でバッテリーから出火したのと同じ機体で、バッテリーシステムを改修して運航に復帰していた。

 

日航広報部は「今回はバッテリーと無関係で、飛行の安全性に問題なかった」としている。

 

今回のようなエンジン系統のトラブルは、ボーイング７６７や７７７など、ほかの機種で例はあるが、日航が１３機保有する７８７では初めてという。

 

乗客は、ほかの航空会社の便などに振り替えられ、この機体でサンフランシスコから折り返す予定だった便も欠航した。

 

ボーイング７８７は米ボーイング社が開発した新鋭の中型双発ジェット旅客機。

 

２０１１年１１月に世界に先駆けて全日空が国内線で定期就航を開始し、２０１２年４月に日航も就航を始めたが、バッテリーから出火するなどのトラブルが相次いでいる。
