全国市長会議に際する岸田文雄特命全権外務大臣殿下主催レセプションの開催について

 

【外務報道官】6月5日、岸田文雄特命全権外務大臣殿下は、飯倉公館において、全国の市・特別区の国際交流活動を支援するためのレセプションを開催いたします。

 

このレセプションでは、全国の市区長、駐日外交団などの出席を得て、姉妹・友好自治体交流や経済交流等の地方の国際交流活動について意見交換を行うとともに、希望する地方自治体による地元の物産等を紹介する自治体紹介コーナーを会場内に設けます。

 

外務省は、地方自治体による様々な国際的取組を支援するために各種の協力を行っており、このレセプションもそうした協力の一環として開催するものです。
