Le Parquet a requis le renvoi de Christophe Margerie, PDG de Total, pour abus de biens sociaux et corruption d’agent public étranger dans le cadre de contrats avec l’Iran.

 

Dans le cadre d’une enquête sur des contrats pétroliers et gaziers avec des sociétés iraniennes dans les années 1990 et 2000, le parquet de Paris a requis le renvoi en procès de Total et de son patron Christophe de Margerie, notamment pour corruption d’agents publics étrangers.

 

Plusieurs contrats portant sur l’attribution de droits d’exploitation de champs pétroliers et gaziers sont au cœur de cette enquête, qui avait valu au patron de Total d’être mis en examen pour « corruption d’agents publics étrangers et abus de biens sociaux » en mars 2007.
