COMPUTEX d&i awards usher in Future Tech

A total of 90 winning products for the 6th annual COMPUTEX d&i awards have been announced. They represent 50 companies who automatically go on to compete for the Gold Awards which will be announced June 3rd at the COMPUTEX TAIPEI International Press Conference.

 

Among the winners are several fascinating products across 7 product categories that lead the trends and tech in their respective fields.

 

Winners this year include global brand names like HTC, Acer and ASUS.

 

Without any surprise, HTC’s NEW HTC One is a winner. Both Acer and ASUS received numerous awards with their complete product lines.

 

Wireless section victors are bringing added convenience to life.

 

The Smart Bluetooth Gunilamp by Gunitech, for example, allows you to remotely adjust home/office lighting with the use of a smartphone app.

 

A well-deserved winner is DYSAN International Enterprise’s Magic Mobile Stand, the world’s first mobile stand that can seat any and all kinds and models of smartphone.

 

Yet, in spite of its massive function, it measures the size of a business card.

 

And another leap comes for wearable hi tech with the Smart Watch developed by Pebble.

 

This “watch” has a 1.26 inch screen and receives text messages, e-mails and other texts such as iMassage and Google Talk and social media and remotely controls music on a cell phone.

 

This year’s d&i awards welcomed 101 firms to enter 250 products, a double digit growth on the number of firms and a 25% growth on the number of products from last year’s competition. Such growth reflects increased appreciation for the value of these awards.

 

The d&i awards are sponsored by TAITRA and implemented by iF International Forum Design.

 

Winning products gain vast profile since they are displayed at leading global IT shows throughout the year.
